“No I am sorry I think you've mistaken me for somebody else”

When I was in my last year of high school I hung out with a
girl who had a sister who was three years younger than us. One night I was
staying at this girl’s house and her sister had a friend over too. My friends
parents were going out for dinner that night, so the younger sister’s friend’s
Mum popped in to say hi check on us. This girls Mum was and still is a local
bus driver.

About eight months after I met this lady, I met her again as
I was getting on a bus after a long, looooong day at work. I was tired. The bus
driver might have said “hi Becky”. I was so tired that I just registered the “hi”
and I said hello back and found a seat. I thought about it on that ride home. Did she call me
Becky?

I told myself “Oh well next time if you are certain she says Becky, just
say actually it’s Nicole”.

A few weeks passed and I saw her again on the bus. She didn’t
say my name, but we had a big, quite in-depth talk about her kids, and her job and what I was doing
with my life. It was a nice chat. As I stepped off the bus and on to the foot path she called out “See you next time
Rebecca!”

I cringed. I turned to correct her. The doors closed and the bus pulled away. I just stood there
on the curb, feeling like twit.

 I didn’t catch the
bus as much after that. Not because I was avoiding her, but Brad and I usually drove to uni together or I bummed a
ride with his parents.

Four years passed
by and I am now back catching the bus. Every now and again I see this bus
driver. And she always greets me with “Hi Rebecca”, or “Good Morning Becky”.

Now it is awkward.

It has gone far too long for me to tell
her that my name is not Rebecca.

Hasn’t it?

If I tell her now, she will be the
one left feeling silly. Well that’s not entirely true, she won’t be the only one.

So the other morning I’m standing at the bus stop, and I see
the bus come around the corner, and this particular driver is in the driver’s
seat.  I said to myself, “just tell her”.
I said it in my head over and over “actually, funny story, my name is not Rebecca,
it’s Nicole”.  I play over the awkward
silence in my head.

The bus stopped.

The doors opened.

I got on.

“Morning Becky, where are you off to love?”

“Just the station Thanks”.

I guess I will have to continue on being Becky. At least for
the twenty minute drive on occasional mornings.

"Now this is a story"

Some more comic gold from the Hawkins video vault. My cousin Leah is the one doing the storytelling. I'm the one who chimes in with "I've got one". I love how my Mum and Aunty Deb are brutally honest. It makes me laugh even harder when Leah is told she has to tell stories that make sense and she says "No..."

This cracks me up!

"We looked! Then we saw him Step in on the mat! We looked! And we saw him!..."

One day I was sitting on the lounge floor doing some scrapbooking. I heard a tinkle (not that tinkle). I turned around and there, in my house was Max.

Meet Max. Max is a cat. He is not our cat. He lives down the road from us, but he likes to hang at our place. On my first meeting with Max I called the number on his collar, and his owner informed me that he likes to go on adventures.

He comes in through the front door, or open windows and rubs around all the furniture. We give him a little ear scratch and he makes himself comfortable. Sometimes he just cruises round all the rooms, checking everything out. This is not so much an adventure for Max as it is a ritual.

We don't mind having him visit, he is so sweet and so strange.

"You're a freak!"

Today is all about my boo. Here are the Top Five quirky things, you never knew about Brad. I, on the other hand, am well accustomed.

5. Has weird food "dislikes". I'm told that when Brad was young, he went through a phase of only eating foods that were yellow-ish in colour. Weird. As you can imagine, this narrows your food group down immensely. Brad's own Father actually recently credited me with getting Brad to eat actual food, including vegetables. The funny thing is, many of the foods I have forced Brad to try, that he previously claimed he didn't like, he now loves*. Some of these foods include:

Mushrooms*

Brie & Camembert cheese*

Pasta Dishes, other than Mac 'n' Cheese*

Onions, in moderation

Cheesecake in moderation

Hershey's Sundae Pie from BK*

Broccoli

Quiche & Frittata

Chicken Burgers*

Dishes made with Mince

Fry Bread*

I am working on sushi, red wine, dark chocolate and smoothies.

4. He risks a sudden, violent death every morning. He wakes me up before he go-goes just to say goodbye.

3.The man is cookie monster incarnate. Even if he is not hungry, if there are biscuits in the cupboard, or cookies in the baking tins. He. Will. Eat. Them. All of them. I made a massive batch a week ago. There were about twenty five cookies. I checked the tin yesterday. It was empty.

2. Loves XBOX. Maybe more than he loves me. He loves XBOX so much so, that he has an XBOX Games component in his monthly budget. Sometimes I think he feels guilty about all the games he buys. Which he shouldn't. But when this guilt wave hits, he usually comes home with a present for me. Generally it goes like this:

B: "Hi, honey, how was your day?"

N: "Good, how was yours?"

B: "Good. I got you this."  *Removes something from a bag, or from behind back*

N: "Awww you didn't have to do that. Thank-you so much honey. I love it. What did you get me this for?"

B: "Do I need a reason?" *Shifty eyes*

N: "So...which game did you get?"

B: *Beaming* "THIS ONE!!"

1. Brad likes to remix names in to song lyrics. Mainly his own name, but sometimes mine too.

For this song, he sings "go one, go on, leave me Bradley" (awkward much?).

For this song, he sings "It's probably 'cause you think you're cooler than Brad".

Sometimes he sings this one as "Nicole-y-oley", instead of "holy moly".

Taylor Swift is another fave, with the words being changed to "you belong with Braaadley".

Just as well I Love you Brad, cause you're a bit of a freak sometimes.

"I'll never be hungry again."

Last Thursday night after Dinner, I cleaned up the kitchen and did the dishes. The bench was spotless.

Many would guess that I would be, a little miffed when I got up at 4.30am to go to the Bathroom, when I saw this on my way through...

But I wasn't angry. I found it funny. The culprit? The Midnight Muncher is in our presence. Yet again.

That's right the Infamous Midnight Muncher is in fact my Mother! *Gasp.

She's having Chemo weekly now. It makes her hungry. At all hours.

"Ladies Let me see your hands up in the air, Ladies Show 'em what you got shake it all around"

On Friday night, I am going to the movies to see Sex & the City 2. I am really looking forward to it. We are going out for dinner first, and maybe a dance afterwards (I'm hopeful). The dress code is "If you're not wearing Heels Honey, don't bother showing up."

Naturally, I've seen a lot of press for SATC2 recently. I have seen alot of magazine spread headlines, such as...

 "Which SATC character are you?"

and

"Which SATC girl do you look most like?"

This got me to thinking, which SATC Girl are my girls most like? So I ran photo's through an online celebrity look-a-like programme. OK so none of us got any of the SATC girls, but some impressive look-a-likes none the less. The Name in green, is the one which I deem to be most accurate.

Brad: "She's high on information, But now I'm low on self-esteem"

Some nights, when we go to bed Brad & I do a quiz out of the 'Dominion Post Quiz Book 2009' before going to sleep. This is a segment of dialogue from last week:

Me: "Question Seven. Who won the Oscar for Best Actress in 1939?"

Brad: "Umm, was it the lady who was Dorothy, in Wizard of Oz?"

Me: "Hmm, that was 1939, but I'm pretty sure she didn't win an Oscar for it. Good guess though Baby."

Brad: "Whatever, I'm sticking with Dorothy. Lock it in!"

Me: "Hmm might have been the actress who played Scarlett O'Hara"

Brad: "What movie is that again?"

Me: "Gone with the Wind"

Brad: "Man, Julie Andrews was on fire that year!"

"How could I forget? Mama said 'Think before speaking' "

Top Five Friday is back! Whether you like it or not.

Today's topic is....

The worst things you could say to me at work.

Before I get started I do need to point out a few things. I Love my job. I Love helping customers. It is my main priority at work & one of the main reasons I have stayed in this line of work for so long. These little quirky moments happen to all people, in all lines of work. As this is a blog about my life, I deem it appropriate to share these moments of mine with you.

5. "Oh it doesn't scan - must be free then?"

Fancy yourself to be a bit of a comedian do you? If I had a dollar for every single time I have heard this I would be seriously rich. Sometimes I am just so tempted to say "Yeah OK you can have it for free" just to see what reaction I would get. If you say this - please stop. It isn't anywhere near as funny as it sounds in your own head.

4. "I opened this, (destroyed the packaging), then realised it's the wrong one. I want a refund"

If you bought a Car, dinged it, then decided you didn't like it, could you return that for a refund? Probs not.

3. "I need an ink cartridge"

"OK, which one?/OK, what printer do you have?"

    "Oh I don't know! It's just a Canon....I think."

A) I do love to help customers - it's what I'm paid for after all.

B) I do love a challenge

C) There are about thirty different consumables for each brand.

D) I am neither a clairvoyant nor a miracle worker. Please come prepared.

2. "Oh you're out of stock, well will [Insert Competitors name] have them in stock?"

When this situation arises, which granted, isn't often, I feel really bad for the customer. They have come to my place of work, and we have been unable to provide them with what they need. I can of course suggest other retailers that possibly carry the product. But it makes me feel strange when I get asked this question above. Sometimes I'm not even sure if similar retailers carry a certain product let alone if they have it in stock. Once when I was asked this, I stood with a blank look, blinking frequently. Whilst I was blinking all I could think was "I. Don't. Know. I work here. Obviously."

1. "I would like to return this...but I don't have a receipt...but you know I bought it here because it's in one of your plastic bags."

Since when, in the history of modern retail has anybody been able to return anything without proof of purchase? Pretty much never. Why? Two words: Refund Fraud. Obviously I don't think that every person who does not have a receipt is actually trying to commit refund fraud. If we can trace it we are more than happy to do that, when provided with a date & time. We know that it can be frustrating - but it is hardly a surprise. The policy is in place at pretty much every single retail store in New Zealand.

In reference to the second part: The last time I checked plastic bag technology had not evolved in to a by-species of a product. Plastic shopping bags aren't like Ikran, those Bird-like creatures in Avatar, that can only have one 'passenger'. It's not as if the plastic shopping bag chooses to carry a particular product, pledging its loyalty for all eternity to that product and that product only. In case you weren't aware they actually are re-usable.

P.S  Are you one of a small minority who actually clicks on the 'full-stop' link to listen to the song lyrics, which the title is taken from? If you answered yes, then you will notice that, yes indeed I am still very much in my 'concert-coma' - and loving every second.

"Disappointment has a name, it's heartbreak warfare"

Today I was in a service station. I was at the beverage fridges, when this man, dressed like a gangster-rapper stood next to me. We both scanned the fridge doors for our beverage of choice. I found my poison of choice and motioned to the 'Rapper' that I would pass in front of him to get to the fridge door I needed. It was then that his eye caught mine. And he got angry. He yelled...

"F*%@! Why aren't there any F*%@-in' 'Up&Go's?!"

I started laughing. Out loud.

If someone gets that angry over the lack of meal replacement shakes at a service station, you know that they're pretty O.G.  What kind of world do we live in?

It's a thug life.

'Good girls go bad'

So as I was going through some more  home video footage, I came across this little gem. I'm in the red, my cousin Leah is in white.

I was such an only-child, naughty little drama queen!

At least I remembered my 'thank-you', right?

''Cause we belong together now, yeah, Forever united here somehow, yeah, And honestly, My life (my life) would suck (would suck) without you"

The Awsome Foursome has finally reunited after five of the longest months. Coincidentally is has also been five of the most busy, jam packed with change and drama months of our lives. However, we are back together again, be it only for a week, but it feels so good to be together again.

Erica, Tess & MK....my life would suck without you. I am so lucky to have three very unique, special, caring and loving friends like you ladies. We all have different strengths and weaknesses, but that's what makes us work so well. I wouldn't have it any other way. Thankyou for being yourselves and for making this friendship what it is...special.

'Land down under' (Part 1)

So...I have not blogged in what seems like forever. Sorry about that. I know that last time I published a post, that I vowed to post again from Australia. Turns out I was faaaar too busy and having too much to fun to find time to update.

So here it is, bits and bobs from my first oversea's trip to the Gold Coast.

Saturday Dec 5th

We left the Coast at 4.15am, on an airport shuttle. We had a cooked breakfast at Wellington airport, and boarded our Pacific Blue flight around 7.00am NZ time.

The flight was longer than I had thought it would be at 3 hours and 45 minutes. Luckily I had my ipod. Not so lucky that Brad didn't bring his, meaning I had to share one headphone with him. Also noted, not so lucky that we also have vastly different tastes in music and that through my un-headphoned ear I had to listen to him complain about my 'flight playlist'. Once we got in to Australian air-space ther was free T.V though, so I watched 'Everyday Italian' with Giada de Laurentis. It made me hungry.

Getting off of the plane was a shock. When we hit the joining-us-to-the-building-tunnel-thingy I felt the heat. Boy did I feel the heat. At that point I was unsure of how I would survive the 26 degree temperature, keeping in mind that it was only 9.45am in Australia. What the heck was midday going to bring?

We went through customs, and even though I am a good girl, I still found it scary. Chapelle Corby situation sprung to mind at the time. Until I was met at the customs desk by a typical Aussie 'Sheila'. She straight up made me laugh (in my head) and reminded me of what Kim from Kath & Kim will look like in her late fifties and Magda from 'There's somthing about Mary'

After that, we picked up the rental van and headed straight to the DFO. Ooooooh shopping. I was running round the outlet like a mad woman, when suddenly my shoe broke. It was so embarassing. I had to limp in to a shoe store, buy some sandles, and hurry on my way. We only had an hour there, so by the end I was literally runnnnnnning! I ended up buying a few tops, some sunglasses, a few belts and a black maxi dress...and of course the shoes.

We then drove from Brisbane to Broadbeach, which is just a few minutes from surfers.

We then stopped at Pacific Fare, to do some more shopping and pick up some groceries.

The place Brad's parents had rented for us to stay at was amazing! It had a pool. Need I say more?

We unloaded the car, got changed and headed straight for the cooling comfort of the water.

After a long day we cooked dinner at the house and all had a pretty early night. I was so excited to be on holiday. The weather was awesome, the house was awesome and we had lots more awesome stuff planned for the next nine days.

Tune in tomorrow, for more adventure's from Kanga Counrty.

'Brown Skin'

On Friday Brad came home from work with a very very sunburnt face and neck. I told him to take the sunblock to work with him on Monday. He did. He didn't put any on though.

Brad came home from work on Monday even more red. Again I reiterated the importance of sunscreen. I even let Baz Luhrmann tell him. Brad did not apply sunscreeen on Tuesday either as it was 'over-cast' apparently. Brad was smart enough to wear sunscreen on Wednesday however the damage is done. He is now browner than me. He is so so tanned. Seriously, he will be Bill Cosby brown by tomorrow.

The burn as of Monday night. Can you imagine what it's like now?

'Dance the night away'

Friday night was the night of the Warehouse Stationery Annual Conference. I havn't been in years, or at all, with my current team. I was looking foward to it - alot.

At Conference there are always awards for Store..., Manager..., Assistant Store Manager..., Values Team Member...of the Year. And usually there is also a poster competition. I heart the poster competition. It's always so secret squirell between the stores as to who is doing what...I love it!

This year my store kind of let the ball roll on the poster front due to stocktake. So with one week until Conference I volunteered my creative goods and unbeknown to him, also Brad's photoshop skills.

We had previously discussed ideas with the team, so I had a rough idea of what we were going to do. The Conference theme was 'Dress to impress: Black & White'. As we have many film buffs in our store we decided to go with our version of the Godfather movie poster, except...bigger, with lots more people and in black and white. We also decided we would wear roses on the night to tie in with our poster, except we would theme in with white instead of red.

The original

We had crap photo's to work with but thanks to Brad's inner-geek, we managed to put everyone in a tux or frock, stencil effect them and lay them up on a HUGE poster.

Our Poster

Wellington store (that's us) won the poster competition! The prize is a lunch shout.

Team = Stoked. Me = Stoked! Brad? Not so much. He's a bit gutted he wont be there for the feast.

Anyway...poster aside we had a great ngith out, filled with food, wine and lots of dancing. Not to mention great company (in most instances anyway).

Peak's of the night:

Seeing Chrissy & the Coastlands store take out two of the major prizes

 Winning the poster comp

Passionfruit cheescake

Relaxing with my team & seeing how good everyone scrubbed up!

Dance circle madness

Pit's of the night:

Getting ready in 30mins, in the staff bathroom, after being at work from 7am. Not the coolest.

Witnessing unsavoury dance moves/violation of ceiling columns.

Both Brad & I getting hit on by Males & Females respectively (no offence, just not that way inclined...obviously?)

The decorations. Probs could have done better myself.

The DJ. I mean, we made the most of what we had but really? Billie Jean & most tracks by the Bee Gee's are generally dance floor clearer's by today's standards.

'Call me'

On Sunday, I signed myself up to a Vodafone plan. I figured that spending $60 a month on pre-pay services, was a waste of time, and that I may aswell get more bang for my buck. Also I desperatley needed a new phone - fo rizzle. My old one, was a hand-me-down from Brad, following an incident last summer on Mahia Beach. Just to follow Billy Conelley's lead here, we'll digress for a moment...

Sooooo I was on holiday at Mahia Beach having the time of my life, eating ice cream for breakfast, swimming with dolphins and fishing and what-not, when I decided to treat my cellular communications device for a swim in the beautiful ocean. Turns out it didn't like it much, as it stopped talking to me. I havn't heard from it since.

Annnyway, so my old phone had seen better days, and it also was having issues talking to me, every so often. So I signed up to a plan and got a new phone. Win, win. I chose the Nokia 6300, because it was on special, it doesn't look or feel like a child's toy and it is easy to use..apparently.

Here's my new phone....

*Ooooh shiny.

I'm not quite used to my new phone yet as it is considerably lighter than all of my previous phones. Perhaps that's why today, in Porirua with the L.W.L this happened...

My phone rings. I rustle through my handbag/portable jungle to find aforementioned cellular device. I pull out my phone, and just before answering it I do a double take. Erica (a.k.a #1) interjects at this point "Bro I don't think that's your phone." I had accidentally thrown my cordless home phone into my handbag. What a dick. I then had to withstand 5 full minutes of complete mockery and embarassment as #1 & #3 wet themselves with laughter. As we walked to through the car park to Harvey Norman, with Erica & M.K. still catching their breath, Mk says between gasps "ohhhhh that's definatley blog material."

So there you have it. My shame is immortalised, forever on the web. Happy M.K?

What do you think? Can I blame this on my new phone or does my intelligence have to take the hit?

'Calling all angels'

On Saturday night, just after dark, there was a knock at my door. This is a fairly unusual happening, as we live down a private road, and then down a seperate, even longer driveway.

Who is this? Then I saw a torch light, and then remembered that a small portion of the rest of the world celebrate Halloween. Pairing my long driveway, with the notion that I do not really celebrate halloween, I had no treats to offer. "Oh no they're going to be mad that I don't have treats, and will probably egg, or toilet roll my house", I thought as I made my way to the door.

I opened my sliding door, to two very cute little angels, looking hopeful, and ever so sweet. "Trick-or-treat", they said excitedly. "Ohhh sorry I don't have any treats" I said. The dissappointment on their faces struck me down. Looking around quickly before they backed away, I spotted my packet of  'Electro' chewing gum. "Wait.." I called out, "I do have some gum!". As soon as the words left my mouth I felt lame.

Still, I ripped open the packets, and placed a few shiny wrapped sticks, in to their goodie bags. They said thankyou, and gave me big grins, as they ran over to where their Mum was waiting. I still felt lame as I closed the door, but also considered that gum was far superior to the packets of raisins I saw in their bags. Then the wee angels made me feel alot better. As I heard their running footsteps, down the driveway, they excitedly yelled out ,"Muuum, we got gum!"

'Thnks fr th mmrs'

...Ahh for those of you who don't speak Pete Wentz, or are unfamilair with this particular dialect of Emo this post is titled 'Thanks for the memories'.

Dedicated to all of my true friends.

On more than two occassions this week alone, I have been reminded, that the definiton of a true friend, is not all about fluffy bunnies, warm fuzzies and rainbow drops.

Don't get me wrong, I love how friendships naturally are pre-destined to come with a free serving of fluffy bunnies, warm fuzzies and rainbow drops.

However, I am a firm believer that a true friend, can cut through all of those things, right to the root of what is really going on, and be brutally honest with you. Even if they know it will break your heart, or if it is not what you want to hear, a true friend will be the man in the mirror that you have been avoiding eye contact with.

I am lucky enough to have a few of these friends. Friends who aren't afraid to hurt my feelings & break down boundaries, but are able to do so without being nasty.

A brief run-down of evidence of true friendship over the past week:

Occasion One,

Friend A, visits bathroom to deposit number ones, whilst on the telephone to me.

Occassion Two,

Friend B laughs uncontrollably at me, as I attempt to change her baby's weird, new 'disposable-but-at-the-same-time-reusable' number two's nappy, on a slippery changing mat, on an un-level couch cushion, as the darling babe evil-eye's* me to hurry up, whilst on the brink of tears.

(*We know one thing that she got from her Mama. Yeah that's right, I went there. )

Occasion Three,

During a telephone conversation with Friend C, I mentioned that I had updated the blog. The response I got? "Ugggggghhhh Fiiinally! I've been waiting for aaaaaages you know?!"

There, Friend C! Are you happy now?

'Lost Without You'

Last week, I was at work, feeling awfully sore and tired. I was slowly (but surely) re-stocking the shelves of the exercise book aisle.

I felt as if nothing short of copius amounts of chocolate, codine and cuddles with cute puppies could make me feel better. Just as I slumped down to pick up another slab of 1B5's, I heard a cry from the next aisle.

A child's voice hollered, "Gwaaaandaaaaaaad!"

Taking a breif moment, to mentally re-live my own horror of being "lost" in a shop once, I realised the urgency of this S.O.S, and "rushed" round the corner, literally, as quick as I could.

I was met by a wide-eyed cutie, with pigtails, wearing a school uniform, roughly 5 or 6 years old.

I lent down and asked, "Are you lost sweetheart?"

"Yesssss, I can't find my Gwandad!"

We exchanged names, and decided we'd go and look for her Grandad together.

I slooooowly stood up straight, trying not to inflict more pain on to myself via my weak, weak back.

As we started to walk, I felt a warm, little, hand grab nervously on to mine. And suddenly, I didn't feel so awful. I felt happy. It feels so nice to be wanted, depended on and trusted. I smiled to myslef. And spotted and older gentleman in the corner.

"Is that your Grandad over there?" I asked.

Suddenly, this angelic little blossom holding my hand, did not feel so vunerable. I think what she was feeling could be accuratley described as....pretty ticked off.

"Yessss! That's him" she screeched accusingly.

Suddenly I was being dragged over to the far corner of the shop by this little girl.

As we reached Grandad, I was just about to open my mouth to let him know I had "found" his grandaughter, but the little one spoke up for herself.

She gave him a right telling off

"Gwandad! I was lost! And I was calling you but you didn't come back, and I was all alone, and, and the lady found me."

A bit embarassed, poor Grandad just looked at the ground.

"I was scared Gwandad! Aaaaand now, i'm allowed to get the colouring book aaaaand the lollies", the little lady demanded.

Grandad surrended, "Ok, then love."

I wondered, where did this little lady learn to negotiate? Well, one thing's for sure, it certainly wasn't from Grandad.

'Hips don't lie'

...Or do they?

Last Saturday night, Katrina had arranged for us to have dinner at Istanbul (the restaurant, not the city) to farewell our dearest 'Sweety Tess'. Despite knowing what the end of the night would bring, we were all having a great time, with great food, wine and of course great company.

We had an early booking, and had made our way through the set menu by 8.30pm. I had been to this restaurant many time, prior to this party, and knew that there would be a belly dancer, performing at roughly 9pm.

We stayed at our pagoda table (a very low table, on an elevated platform, seated by large cushions) and had some apple tea and Turkish delight whilst we waited.

After what felt like an eternity of waiting, the belly dancer appeared, in all her glory to a wave of whistling, cheering and clapping.

I questioned our 20 strong group, "Does anyone else think she looks like Katrina?"

Double takes, shocked faces and shift eyes ensued.

Everyone at my table got very excited by this striking resemblance, especially Katrina's boyfriend, Mark.

Through all the noise of the music, aforementioned cheering and "she looks so much like Katrina" comments this is what i heard.

"It is Katrina!"

"Is it reeeally?" i asked.

I did a frantic double-take and scanned the room for Katrina.

She wasn't there, and Mark seemed to be enjoying this way more than anyone else.

The next five minutes was what can only be described as a frantic search for the truth.

In a state of shock and panic, we continued scanning the dimly lit restaurant for Katrina, to no avail. We discussed how Katrina had been absent from the table for at least ten minutes before the performance started.

Had she left to change in to her costume? Was this an extra leaving present for Tess?

"What is going on?" we asked ourselves. We needed answers from Mark, but he was too caught up in the moment to talk.

And then she appeared, through the beaded curtain. Katrina. Not the belly dancer.

A little disappointed we explained our funny frenzy to Katrina.

Oh well it was fun to believe it for a few minutes, even if it wasn't the truth...eh Mark?

What do you guys think? Separated at birth, or too many drinks vs. low lighting?

Bon Voyage Tessy, when, or if i can ever find the words, i will blog about your departure. Until then "I love you" is all that i have.

'Daughter's'

I had a below average day today. I came straight home, jumped on the computer and gave in to one of my most guiltiest pleasures. I know what many of you are thinking, but No, it (surprisingly) wasn't shoe porn (or any other Porn for that matter). It was celebrity "news". As i filtered through the site, i came across a gallery of 'Celebrity DILF's' . Of course i looked. The last photo showed one half of one of my favourite, and one of the most sexiest, celebrity couples. Brad entered the room, and i said to him "Oooh i love Seal. I love how he has raised Leni from a newborn as his own daughter" Brad looking at the photo, followed with "Is she not biologically his?" "Loook at their picture babe" "Ughhh. **Mumble-mumble**Obviously **mumble**not." Brad left the room, shaking his head at the embarrassment he had caused himself. I laughed. And then i laughed some more.
