"If music be the food of love, play on." - William Shakespeare

When I go to the Gym, or drag myself out for a walk, there is no doubt, there is one thing that gets me through. Music. If I can distract myself with a good song, I can make it through almost any workout. Today I'm stacking up my Top Five Favourite Workout Songs for the week.

5. Jay-Z feat. Alicia Keys - Empire State of Mind.

This is an unusual choice of workout song for me. It's not exactly as upbeat as the others, but it is funky & powerful.

4. 3OH!3 - Starstruckk.

Love this song. Throw a sweet, syrupy, fast-paced pop song at me, with a Dance Track twist, and I am on board in a big way.

3. La Roux - Bullet Proof.

Electro-Pop-Perfection. "Buuuuuuulet Prooooooof". Love it.

2. David Guetta - Memories.

I love the Bass beat of this song, it makes me want to run faster, row further, cycle quicker.

1. Rikki Lee Coulter - Can't touch it.

I love everything about this song. It's a great Girl Anthem, and it has a fantastic feel. Sometimes I catch myself dancing on the treadmill, when listening to this song. Brad has started to notice too...maybe I should stop that?
