"Love is Strange"

Last night on our way home from a celebratory dinner, Brad & I had the following conversation.





Brad: "I thought she lived in Sydney? Why is she working there?"



Me: "She's been back since the beginning of the year. She's studying Law at Vic."



Brad: "I would never have guessed that she would be keen on studying Law."



Me: "Well obvisouly she is. People used to say when I was younger that I would grow up to be a Lawyer."



Brad: "Well you are VERY good at arguing Honey."







(Awkward Silence)









Me: "....Aah, is that a compliment or are you having a go?"



Brad: "All i'm saying is that I can't fight with you. You make me think about things differently. It ruins my argument. I just can't do it like you do. Aaaand you win so much that sometimes I just give up."





Me: "What?! Are you saying that I think I'm always right and fight so well that it forces you to just GIVE UP? That's not nice."



Brad: "No. No, no, no. Even when you're wrong you argue a point way too well."





Me: "Great."





(Awkward Silence)







Brad: "Also, you wouldn't have made a good Lawyer.."







(Awkward Silence)







Brad: "....You care too much about the truth."
