A little over a week ago it was my Sister's Birthday. She turned Nineteen. The last teenage year - how exciting. The day before her Birthday, Brad & I took her shopping.
She bought two gorgeous evening bags and a Polka-Dot shirt with the money we gave her. (See, Kelsey & I are more alike than you make know.)
Kels went out on the town with some Girlfriends that night.
On Sunday Mum, her Husband Darren & I drove to Kilbirnie to pick Kelsey up, and drive her in to town, where we were meeting for lunch.
We had txt her an hour before our arrival - yet when I knocked on the door, she opened it in a towel fresh out of the shower. She said "Umm I'm not quite ready." No kidding.
Once she was ready, we jumped in the car, slapped some make-up on and zoomed down to the Wellington waterfront.
We had a Family lunch at Mac's Brewery to celebrate. It was really nice - the food, the company, the love, all of it. It really was a wonderful afternoon.
The Cake I made - at 10.30pm the night before the party.

Happy Birthday Sissy.
Enjoy your last year of being a teenager.
I am so lucky that God, Destiny or Fate granted me with the honour of being your Sister.
Love you.
